Call 118 for an ambulance or 110 for police if anyone is hurt.

Photograph the scene before anything moves
Both vehicles, plates, damage, the road and any rental agreement.

Get checked even if you feel fine
Head injuries and road rash both get worse quietly. Keep every medical document for your insurer.

Call your insurer and the rental owner
Tell them the same day. Do not hand over your passport as a deposit or guarantee to anyone.
