   Staff can call, direct the ambulance to the exact address and often get you there faster than an app.

   Contact your insurer's emergency line early

   Many policies need to authorise treatment or arrange direct billing before the bill grows.

   Keep every document

   Receipts, prescriptions and the discharge summary — you will need them to claim.
