A departure checklist to run through before you head to the airport.

  • Passport and visa documents

    Have your passport and any visa or extension documents ready.

  • Flight status

    Check your flight status with the airline and have your boarding pass ready.

  • Transport buffer

    Leave a much larger transport buffer than the map suggests — traffic to DPS is unpredictable.

  • Return rentals

    Return any scooter or car rental and settle any damage before departure day.

  • Check your room

    Check your room, safe and chargers before you leave.

  • Settle outstanding bills

    Settle any outstanding bills before departure.

  • Baggage and souvenir rules

    Check baggage rules and that souvenirs (alcohol, plants, wooden items, cultural objects) are allowed by your airline and destination country.

  • Immigration questions

    If you think you may have overstayed or have any immigration question, contact VISIO or Immigration before departure day — overstay is resolved at the airport with fines and delays.

  • Keep some cash

    Keep some cash for last-minute costs.

  • Levy and arrival documents

    Check that your levy/arrival documents are still saved in the app in case they are requested.
